Adam Wingard’s movie is just what we need right now, a story full of clichés, empty characters and a script that stumbles between the various action scenes involving our favorite monsters. Scenes that when they arrive fulfill what they promised more than enough and lead us to an approach that for me is simple in these cases. How lucky to be able to enjoy this movie in a movie theater. It is not the same or even remotely seeing her in the living room at home. In fact, the bigger the screen, the better.
There is not much to scratch in the story, Godzilla, who was the protector of humanity, attacks without warning, a coastal city, leading to bring Kong back to protect a journey to find the only thing that can protect us against the great lizard (lizard for friends, if you will allow me the joke). There are twists and turns that have already been uploaded to the toy lines, but we are not going to mention here out of respect. And there is a group of human characters who are at least more active than in the previous film, both the new ones and those already known, which makes the plot more bearable, although sometimes their ideas are, at best, questionable.
