She’s been waiting all these years for his return. Together with her daughter and granddaughter, they manage to trap Myers in the basement of a burning house.
So we already know that Halloween Ends will be released next year , the final installment in the series. That is a problem. Because many things tell you that Halloween Kills is just not going anywhere. A lot of lines are plotted in the first 45 minutes and quite a few of them are also brutally wiped out in the last half hour. And by the end of the film, not much has really changed. And that’s a shame.
Because where I was extremely satisfied with the film from 2018, which had a nice pace and didn’t use too many cheap horror clichés, both are now disappointing. It feels slow, the story is forced in a forced way and the victims have been smarter. Creating mass hysteria is a nice idea, but here too the effect does not go well and it even gets a bit clumsy.
